Happy New Year! May this year be used of God to draw us closer to Him, and may He pour His Holy Spirit out on Reading, Boston, New England, and the ends of the earth so that many people will come to know Jesus as Lord & Savior! Soli Deo Gloria!
Weekly News
--The new College & Career class is here! Click the College page to read all about it. Hope to see you this Sunday, 1/4/09.
--Champfleuri '09 is upon us. Believe it or not, it is almost time to begin the process of prepping for next summer's teen mission trip to France. All the info you will need will be posted on this site right after Christmas, including the date of an informational meeting for all interested teens and their parents. In the meantime, feel free to visit Champfleuri's site at www.champfleuri.org.
Youth Group
--YG returns this Sunday, January 4, 2009! I've missed all of you and cannot wait to get going again. As usual, we'll meet at 6p for Gruding & Games before gathering for singing and our discussion.
--This week's topic: Made to Worship (Col. 3:16-17). Pastor James Montgomery Boice wrote the words: “Come, lift your voice to heaven’s high throne, and glory give to God alone!” Why were you created? What does it mean to worship? Is this only done once a week in church or at YG? Does it only have to do with singing? How can you worship in the middle of class when you’re stressed about life? Come join the study of God's Word for some answers.
Sunday School
--Jr. & Sr. High Sunday School meets from 9:30-10:30a, beginning a new study of the Book of Ephesians. See you then.
--Sr. High SS has a new teacher for the winter and spring: Gordon Chinamasa! He is anxious to get started, so come on out and show your support.
