Overview
On this page, it is our desire to provide you with varied information,
in order to equip you for service in the Kingdom of Christ. From time
to time, you will see book reviews, Bible study guides, articles,
web sites, etc., which we have first read before passing them on to
you. Depending on what we wish to present to you, the resources you
encounter may or may not be orthodox in their beliefs. In fact, at
times they may not be deemed, "Christian," in their content
at all.
It is our desire to expose you to different ideas, not so that
you might consider believing in, say, Hinduism, or becoming an atheist,
but so that you might begin to understand the world around you.
When you understand what people are thinking, then you can actively
and intelligently engage them, showing yourself to be "salt
and light" in a world which is desperate for the Truth of Christ.
If there are any topics which you would like to research, let us
know and we'll do our best to provide resources.

The
Island of Hope in a Sea of Ignorance
So What's the Difference? Comparing
and Contrasting Christianity with other world religions
In today's day an age, we are encouraged to believe that truth is
relative. Stemming from this notion is the belief that all religions
teach the same thing. Is that accurate? Do all religions teach the
same thing? The answer, simply put, is no.
On this page you will find several power point presentations comparing
and contrasting Christianity with different world religions. Drawing
from each religion’s sacred texts, as well as from Christian
sources, each lesson is intended to help us respectfully understand
each religion, while also highlighting the unique salvation offered
to the world, that which comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.
Paul teaches us in Romans 10 that “everyone who calls on the
name of the Lord will be saved” (v. 13), while also reminding
us that people will not place their faith in Christ unless someone
proclaims Him to them (v. 14). May the Holy Spirit use these lessons
to teach us how to proclaim Jesus to our friends, family members,
and neighbors, so that they may call on Him and be saved.
